Has anyone ever washed any of their Kasuri products on gentle in the washer before (no agitator)? The fabric seems tough enough to handle it.

Additionally, I noticed with an item I own that has dmgd processing/hand paint detail putting it in the wash over time actually removed the paint details... has anyone else had this experience? Part of me is obviously annoyed at how silly that is, but simultaneously you have to wash things so I guess it's a part of the wear cycle. It was nothing I would ever think to hand wash... I have similar distressing on a pair of RRL pants and they haven't washed away at all.

Didn't a few people on here get the Wallis SS Iris Mawata? How's the fit? I have a silk Wallis in 3 that fits pretty big and usually wear 3 or 4 but unsure if I'd need a 4 for the Mawata due to the silk fill. Is it very thick? Any thoughts on a fair price for this too? This one:

Not sure how helpful, but having tried the wallis down from ss25, they adjusted the sizing slightly to account for the wadding, so I'd recommend going with your normal size. I'm 6'1 185 athletic build and went with a 4- but I fit a 3 fine, but was a bit short in body and snug in shoulders.

I’ve washed my kasuri shirt in gentle wash setting and it’s ok!

Imo the mawata wallis fits more snug compared to the normal silk wallis, not sure about sizing up, I feel no need

Do newer FBTs still have the disintegrating insole issue? I've worn this pair a handful of times over the past decade. Kind of disappointing.

No but any forms can be susceptible to hydrolysis over time, and even moreso due to the environment they're in. That said, those fbt JP style soles are much more susceptible than the folk models with the foam/rubber/leather composite sole.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before years ago but why or what has Hiroki got against coat hanging loops on coats/jackets? I'm not always carrying a Visvim hanger to hang my coats properly when out and about. That and a double zip on zip closing jackets should be a base level norm. Can only add 2 or 3 hundred to the retail price.

Hi want to ask how's people's experience getting stuff from pancho shipping to US. Do you need to pay any custom/tariff/tax?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
