I think their ties are made by the same factory that makes ties for Granqvist in Stockholm. I'd advise you to support local business with an excellent reputation instead. Plus it's cheaper!
Viola Milano owns their own factory. They make ties for several brands. If what you're saying is true, Viola Milano produces for Granqvist. Not the other way around.

Tom, the owner of Viola Milano is Swedish and last I heard, they were planning to produce ties for Ralph Lauren and other high end brands as well that are frequently featured on SF.

At sale prices €65-70, you're hard pressed to find more bang for the buck, imo.

Yet his business practices are the very opposite of Swedish - no return policy on sale items goes against EU laws and they can end up in troubles for refusing a return.
Sure. Nevertheless, several members here are probably buying from brands that have their ties produced by Viola Milano. So while throwing a shadow on the company, they're supporting it indirectly through other brands. Such as Granqvist apparently. How can they and their customers be considered sitting on the moral high horse whilst having their ties made by Viola Milano which they know are practising bad business?

However, this is not in defense of Viola Milano. Wrong is wrong. But I have no intention straying away from the subject either. My purpose was to provide my recent experience dealing with the company. And it was excellent.

Dear Sir, it is false. I am an italian tie maker, I make ties for Granquist. Tom is a seller, he doesn't have a factory, Viola Milano factory doesn't exist, it is only markenting.

I don't know who makes ties for Granqvist. It wasn't me suggesting it.

I've had people I know visit his factory which he bought long time ago. But what do I know.

I also hspoen to know that there are some other tie makers that are in dispute with Tom and Viola Milano because of prior businesses and are trying to bash him, without naming any names. I don't know who's wrong and who's right, but in my experience, it's seldomly only one party's fault.

Edit: wait, so you're a tie maker, who also makes ties for other brands, yet you're on here, buying the Viola product and is all over the thread on every page bashing the company? Yeah, that looks and sounds suspicious to say the least. But what do I care. I had a great experience and always had and merely wanted to share it with the forum.

I wasn't aware that positive feedback about the company would be such a sensitive issue. So before I'm questioned, here's the proof of order date, shipment, tracking number and delivery.

No one doubts your experience. It's just that I have a problem with their business ethics that goes against the law. So I can't support a business like that. And on top of it I don't even like the shape of their tie pattern 🙂

What do you mean? I've already received the tie.
In my case they neglected the evidence of articles not shipped: although this status is still on my account, they don't want to to refund me !!! Absurd!!! Stay away from these people! Aggressive people, not clear location of factory ( eventually, the phrase "made in Italy" can be placed also if they only place that label, without violating any law), customer service that sends delayed responses, at their convenience.
