I wonder if they are Worthmore shoes. Florsheim's budget, budget line of shoes.

Thanks. Could very well be. I've heard of that line but didn't think about it. I could definitely make out the Florsheim 'badge' but nothing that was written inside the badge like "Worthmore'. I bet you're right. Thanks fellas!

Also found an AE Black Hills for a buddy, $10. They're in better shape than the pic might lead you to believe and next to no heel wear. Btw, what is waxy leather?

Also found a Florsheim blue label boot. But my son's 18 year old friend can't handle the style risk, haha!! So I left it. I already have about 9 pair sitting around so I think I've learned my lesson.

I picked up a cool pair of Brown of Canada Bluchers last week. Brown of Canada was a subsidiary of Brown of St. Louis. In 1959 Brown bought the Perth Shoe Company, which was located in Southeastern Ontario, southwest of Ottawa. Brown of Canada manufactured a wide range of shoes, with men's safety shoes and military footwear being the most commonly encountered. However when you do find a pair of dress shoes, they tend to be pretty nice.

Florsheim PTBs in shell on a rainy day. These were rebuilt with Dainite soles and grommets.
