Eylets look rough. Hard to say what’s going on there. Looks like oil stains of some sort. Product probably won’t make much difference.

It makes me wonder if for $65/free shipping it's worth the gamble.

I accept your advice but since I'm not keeping these for my own, I used some old Propert's cream that I found at Salvation Army. It smells like it causes cancer, so I'm sure that it's good.

They also made surgical shoes, i.e. for when you come out of surgery and need to put a shoe on over bandages or a cast.
