I’m a 11.5 in the 2030 for sure - perfect fit. An 11.5D in a Whites MP/Mod Barrie last is a snug but good fit. A 12D is a bit more relaxed. The sizing is very close but if your snug in your fav. 2030 size I’d go up a half. The 2030 is very much a Whites D width though.
Thanks for the info- this is very helpful. If I purchase them, I will likely go through Bakers in OR. It might fun to try Whites as my last 2 shoe orders have been Vibergs.

For anyone out there looking for a pair of waxed flesh with a commando sole, I have a brown plain toe pair on the 110 last in size 9.5. I stopped wearing since they are too small for me. If they had a somewhat structured toe they could probably work for me. Hasn’t seen much wear due to sizing and I’ll let them go for a good price. DM me if interested.

@Dpr422 - cant go wrong with Bakers. Ive bought 7 pairs of Whites from them and their service is top shelf. Its family owned and the Bakers are all great people.

My Oil Tan Mocha Roughout from 2014. Currently on dainite and ready for a resole. I always figured I'd go with the commando but see that Viberg offers the Ridgeway now and maybe even the mini-ripple. All would serve my needs just fine but I'd prefer to go with the lighter weight sole. Any thoughts on which one would be lighter?

This similar makeup on mini-ripple looks great, The Marvington II Boot from Withered Fig.

I have limited experience with the ridgeway sole, but so far I’m liking it more than commando. I cannot comment on the mini ripple.

Wonder what the inside heel counter rubs against. That's some crazy wear on both counters. Motorcycle??

Looks like classic office chair wear to me... This seems like an extreme version of CXL wear. I've worn my White's black CXL boots fairly regularly for five years, and they are not this rubbed out. I think it looks cool, don't get me wrong. But it's pretty easy to keep them black if that's what you want with just an occasional (like once every year or two) black cream shoe polish.
