It's a typo.

In other news that you guys might be interested in, we have been cleared to do a set for Styleforum for the FW/Holiday season:

1) A chelsea or side zip boot
2) A rugged boot - a service boot with 5 eyelets - yes, the 1940s service boot is apparently back.
3) Either the long awaited Echo boot, if we can figure it out in time, or another cool, more streetwear like, boot.

BOOM.

Nice! Zip boot and I would be in.

UH.

If the idea of the ECHO boot was a checked out library book, there'd be a hell of a big late fee. If you know what I mean.

My heart says awesome, my wallet doesn't agree!
Great work! Interested to see the makeups. I'll be down for at least one depending on how things shake out.
Would prefer a Chelsea without a side zip myself.
Definitely interested in the rugged boot.

I'd guess $1100 as its been the going rate for shell. They confirmed it'll be on the 2030 in their newsletter, didn't mention the toe, but i believe all of their shell makeups have been unstructured.

I'm certain that as of the black shell boot released at the end of 2013 all Viberg shell boots have had partial structure. Prior boots appeared mostly unstructured -- one notable exception was the Manufactum 1940 plain toe black shell from 2011. Also to note is Leffot did 2 #8 runs... the one from 2012 was unstructured, the one from 2014 was structured.

I actually like the ping-pong toe on the GYW shell boots... finishing on the toe on the GYW boots looks right. Still much prefer unstructured stitchdown though. The first Leffot run is IMO the grail of all grails...

Thanks for that, convinced now for sure!
Some kind of brown leather with a commando sole would be sweet.
