Here are a few pictures of my Aged Bark Roughout 310s after a full resole at my local cobbler. First time I've let them loose on a pair of my Vibergs and I am pleased with the result. At my request they replaced the original full Dainite sole with a natural leather midsole and glued a half sole and heel so that when they need replacing through wear then there will be simple to resole and reheel with no stitching required.

There is a slight pitch forward on the heel which I believe is required to balance the boot as the sprung toe has levelled out somewhat due to wear. I assume if Viberg still offered repairs they could have been relasted on the original 310 last they were built on and returned to the original profile. Still, I am happy with the result and will use them again for my other Vibergs with the low SPI. I went for the natural leather finish on the heels and will let these darken with age(I've included a picture comparing these with the heel of my bison leather 310s which have darkened over the years with wear and treating with wax- based polish.

Glad you are happy with them. I think I'm at the point where I'd only send them to Unsung or Wyatt and Dad given their proclivity for hand stitching the soles.

They are actually(partially) hand stitched - mainly because they had problems with their machine. I'm in the UK and would have happily sent them back to Viberg if they still offered the service. Prior to going with my local independent I contacted a few high profile UK cobblers and either got no answer or was quoted stupid prices. By the time I took them in for repair the Dainite sole was wafer thin in places. The guys had not handled Vibergs before and were quite honest about the fact and even though it took them longer than anticipated they stuck to their original quote.

What'd they charge you if you don't mind me asking?
