How are you liking the sole so far? I just bought the Japanese boondockers in the same last and everything but in smooth leather. I’m really liking my pair. I did hear that the soles will soften up after some more wear.

BTW, the right shoe is labeled as 10.5 and the left shoe is labeled as 11. At first I thought that they were just the same size but the more I wear them I’m realizing that Viberg gave me an incorrectly sized left shoe. Kinda sucks because they weren’t cheap.

It’s actually pretty comfy, obviously the boot is pretty heavy but the sole seems more comfy than I recall with my previous raw cord. This 2040 also feels a bit more comfortable than my other ones since the throat is a bit tighter so the heel feels more locked

I have an update to the mismatched boots. Vivian reached back out to me and said since they had another size 10.5 pair they will send me a return label and pay for the shipping both ways.

If my other mismatched sized boot twin wants he could see about getting a discount or use that discount to get my size 11 left boot if he’s ok with having a boot that I wore three times to the office?

I’m also finding the boots comfortable despite how heavy they are. I’m just glad that I won’t have to worry about trying to get them resoled with that stitch count. 😂
