Whats your brannock? If you're going 1 down, you may like .5 down in 2030 instead for the toe rub issue.ViFriends I have a question:
Let us consider two Viberg boots: 11.5e Miloh Shop 2030 taurus roughouts (green boots!!) w/ unstructured toe and 11.5e Standard & Strange 2030 natural chromexcel with structured toe. For me and boots, toe taper/rub is frequently the disqualifying issue for footwear that otherwise fits.
The unstructured roughouts feel good. I like them. The structured nat chrom does not feel good and I do not like them. As often is the case, the toe structure appears to be the villain. The Miloh Shop 2030s also appear to be slightly but legitimately longer and wider than the S&S 2030s. I understand the Miloh roughouts may be somewhat vintage at this point, and given the 2030 appears to undergo a lot of revision, the two pair may be lasted on different generations of the 2030.
I am looking at the Brooklyn Clothing unstructured chromexcel Vibergs--and I wonder: will these (1) fit like my Miloh Shop unstructued 2030s, because they're both unstructured; or will these (2) fit like my S&S 2030s, because they're a more contemporary version of the 2030 last that may be slightly narrower?
Thoughts welcome! Thanks.

I agree, i don't have two vibergs that fit the same regardless if they were from the same era or not.In my experience, 2030 has been getting wider, not narrower. However, more than anything, I find that viberg fit can vary depending on leather, lining, welting, day of the week, and which way the wind was blowing when they were made. It’s relatively marginal, but perhaps enough variance to affect comfort for you, if you’re in the line with sizing. In other words, not sure you can know for sure without trying them on.
Not shell, don't be fooled 🤣Wow, unlined shell?
Is it just reverse work shoe butt? Not shell, don't be fooled 🤣
