Getting wild with that tri-material pair
Theyre not so bad. DR has done a similar deal with a couple white's collabs and there was a black and natty shell scout boot some years back. The black roughout and black smooth heel blend in thankfully so it looks more 2 tone

I'm just ragging on you a bit, but it's definitely one of the more out there makeups from Viberg

Got my boots back from Unsung last night.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I see what you mean about the stance. That’s not really the case with the pair I was mentioning, so I may need to just keep breaking them in…

You've got the leather heel stack too which helps a ton!

Yeah I’d be interested to see a back to back comparison with a foam heel rip. Those look a bit taller. Although, is that even the original sole/stack on that pair?

Japanese Market Bobcats:
These were just a resole and conversion from 360 stitchdown to 270 and changed to vibram lug.

I was too tired/lazy last night to find laces for em.

And the larger project were these Viberg x Huckberry Bourbon Workshoe Butt on Miniripple that had the toe puff removed, conversion to 270 Stitchdown, and put on Dr Sole Supergrip (one of my personal favorites) also opted for his thinner 4mm midsole.

Original, you can see the weird stance and the backward lean.

I'm over the moon with both of these.

Wow, they did a great job with these. Congrats!!

Guidi matte brown from Miloh?

Yep, picked them up off another member at the beginning of Covid. Love this leather.

The heel cup has an internal edge that rubs hard, which is exacerbated by the leather stack, which is stiff as a board from the factory. You can see they’ve gotten wear, but I’m still breaking that sole in. Hopefully they’ll eventually relax and the rubbing will subside.

I’ll send a pic next to a foam wedge when I get a chance. And to the member who asked, this is the original leather heel stack from Viberg.
