You'd want to check the stitchdown.com Shoe & Boot Term Dictionary for the proper term.
Haha I think I skimmed that when they posted it on their insta. Speaking of Maryam, anyone think they'll bring back asphalt?

In terms of sizing? I go down a half on the 2030 and a full size on the Conistons.
Nah, good on sizing, and it was half a size for me as well on the 341 last. I'm infatuated with my new whisky Harlech's and LOVE the way they fit. I was debating a pair of Coniston's for more regular wear and fitting in where a 2030 boot would. Just kinda curious to see how tolerable my jeans and band shirts would be of them.

Anyone here have Crockett & Jones Coniston's? I'd be curious to see how they compared to a 2030 boot.

I also own a pair of Conistons, and they are in heavy rotation - a fabulous, well-made and sleek boot. In what way do you mean compare?

I can wear a 2030 in either a 7.5 or an 8 depending on the style and my sock preference. But I need an 8 UK in the Coniston to accomodate my pinky toes, in the standard E fitting (more like a US D). It is a rather narrow, long last, very different than the 2030. The C&J 325 last is probably not ideal for me, but I can make it work.

I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt. Both fit reasonably well, but still jeans and t-shirt. All of my service boots look fine. I'm curious if the C&J's will be too sleek/fancy for that and more reserved for dressing a smidge nicer. I'll use them like actual boots that see dirt, scuffs, etc.

I think the dark brown pebble grain Coniston is more sleek/fancy, but the others not so much. There are the two roughouts colors that are very jeans / dirt friendly. The brown roughout on the Dainite, and my Black Editions above are on a Vibram lug. A boot lover should own a pair of Conistons!

I was looking at the tan scotch grain.
