Lightweight (300+g) worsted flannel in air conditioning, definitely possible :)
Fox Queens Award Worsted Flannel is about the lightest flannel you can get, and I can recommend it, though it does not drape as well and is not as soft as the heavier woollen ones.

Afaik VBC cloth is distributed as cut length via Drapers.

hello, supern0va, have you worn flannel in singapore before and can you recommend it? contemplating the class cricket white from fox. there's a 9oz and 13 oz version. got quoted 500 and 790 from 2 different tailors :O

current work pants are 13 oz worsted and 14/15oz fresco, but I am afraid that flannels may be too warm for the weather?

Thanks. I thought VBC still marketed some of their cloth separately.

I have some worsted flannel from Abraham Moon, think about 330g. I would say wearable, especially in air conditioning.

I think you really need to assess your tolerance for heat, and especially humidity. I don't run particularly hot, but the latter in heavier woolen flannel (a la the 13oz) would be stifling for me.

Dear Sirs,

If you call a 300+ grams flannel "lightweight", especially "about the lightest flannel you can get", what do you call, my - still unfunded - Ermenegildo Zegna fawn flannel: Cashmere 92% - Silk 8%, at 180grams?

Best to your projects, and waiting with interest for your response,

Dimitris

Can someone recommend a nice brown jacketing with a faint red or blue overcheck? Nothing too crazy. Found some cool ones on the HFW website.

Anyone had no 320538 made up?
