The fresco books are very suit-centric. The blue frescos make good blazers, but that's about it.
Cool, noted. A blue/navy blazer it will be.

I wear fresco at least 6-7 months out of the year in London.
I get that. The thing is, when I'm in London it's usually the winter months (or certainly the cooler ones), where a lighterweight tweed will usually fit in fine. If I spent the summer months consistently in London then my wardrobe would be quite different, and I would be able to justify fresco all over the place!

I'll have a think about it. Nothing worse than getting something sub-par and just replacing soon later. So perhaps something bespoke might be the best option.

If the sand were a dark enough shade, that might be of interest, as it's not as solid as most of the others.

There used to be a B&W glen plaid that might make an OK jacket. I'd still prefer another cloth in that pattern though.

I have a dark brown fresco blazersuit (3 patch, full Manton orthodoxy) and wear the jacket w/ odd pants often. The light and medium gray frescos make great odd pants. I might try the sand someday too.

Take a closer look at the hair Doc, that's patrickBOOTH!

Ah, a rare shot of PB in his mid gray years.

Now, but such was the wildness of his youth. You'll notice the white socks. They slowly worked their way up. Next is the legendary hair.

Quote: That was my favorite color in the fresco's. I happen to have ordered the last 8 yards that existed and made up suits for two clients. Don't understand why they didn't remake that color

Ya, most people didn't seem to like it much here either, so they organized two runs of lighter versions (Slewfoot and DWW).

Wish Minnis made the sand in the lighter 8/9 oz version, btw.

Can anyone recommend a good source of fabric for a cotton suit? Preferably one carried by NSM. Looking for brown cotton suiting material.
