The WBill sure does look nice. I am wondering about longevity though.

Have you had a look at Fox Tweeds?
The Navy and Char Navy Twills and Herringbones are great!!
They‘re robust, but the finish is much finer than Harris Tweed.

Dear @classicalthunde,

Very nice SC above, as well as a thoughtful and harmonic selection of patterns, colors, etc.

Well,... is the SC purple-ish, or is it my monitor? In that case, we need to page @lordsuperb!

Best,

Dimitris

note - its (sadly) not my sport coat, nor am I as thoughtful about my combinations...this was lifted from Voxsartoria's tumbler page

I see. At any rate, a very nice, balanced and coherent combination in deed!

After all, aren't we all here to improve ourselves?

Best,

Dimitris

my general take on trying dressing better is the same as my outlook on becoming a better cook - find what i think looks good, take a look at what/how people who are better at it than I am are doing, try and replicate, fail miserably until it kinda of clicks, and then eventually tweak to my own taste

Ariston tweeds. 380 grams/13 ounce. 2 grey, 1 blue, 2 browns, 1 green.
Soft, luxe hand. Not coarse. Easy to tailor. Thinks it's too soft for trousers.

As luck would have it, I made a jacket in the darker brown a while ago and it came out wonderfully well. Will likely be making the green for the same client at some point. I was very surprised at what a lovely hand this cloth has

Agreed, rustic tweed look with the hand of a cashmere sweater. If that’s your thing, it’s a great cloth.

Fox just announced a limited special on what could well have been one of their Alden/LL flannels-- 18oz, mid grey chalk stripe.
