My sentiments exactly, although people moving here from Alabama are quite excited and almost awed by Atlanta ("more than 2 traffic lights", one said)!

Good God, Dayton is so awful. But yes, Columbus is great.
I also have a great time whenever I am in Richmond lately

I enjoyed living in Columbus, but it is really geared toward a younger crowd. If you're married and 45, but still like to stay social, go out and enjoy the city, you're going to find yourself pretty limited in Columbus.
