Hi,

I have two questions which have been bugging me for some time.

Firstly, how does one remove shoe polish?
Secondly, what's the difference between a short, medium and long suit, assuming that the other measurements are the same for all three suits?

Thanks.

1. shoe polish remover/cleaner. Allen Edmonds makes a nice product.

2. sleeve length, overall jacket length, inseam length all change with short, regular, long suits.

Wax polish will also remove old wax polish and cream polish, while cream polish will not generally remove either. See A. Harris's guide to antiquing shoes, linked into the HOF best of post, for creative uses of both types.
