Anyone planning to go to South Africa in 2010?

I'm trying to put together a trip with friends for atleast a week. What is the best method for a cost effective trip from the states.

Any advice?

Are you actually planning on going to the matches, or just the atmosphere of the city?

The tickets for ****** games were like $700/piece. I stopped looking after that.

i have tickets for two match games and a semi's game.

im super-excited, i have never been to africa.

as for cost savings, i bought the tickets really early on with prices for $280 for the match games and $450 for the semi. not that bad really. my plane ride is free (except luggage) through a friend whose dad works for airlines
