Very fall/winter biased.

More posters posting fits in fall/winter?
More members posting, so more thumbs in fall/winter?
Summer fits are hard to make interesting?

All three?
So for those interested in the statistics breakdown of the top 100 it works out to be something like this:

Winter (Jan, Feb, Dec) - 30%
Spring (Mar, April, May) - 33%
Summer (June, July, Aug) - 22%
Fall (Sept, Oct, Nov) - 15%

March had the highest number of top 100 fits
While November had the lowest number of top 100 fits

So...

Tapered/skinny black pants, sneakers that look like they've been worn through a war zone, long outerwear, a tall T, and something drapey on your neck = SF thumbz.

Ahh, but none of the top 10 are wearing sneakers! Also don't forget SW&D's general obsession with leather outerwear and all things patchwork.

Interesting - I didn't get that impression from the 'seasonfulness' even taking into account antipodean posters. Fall's low showing surprises me.

There is a high statistical correlation between covering your face and thumbs.
