Inspirational stuff from Ghostface, Berlin Report and C4est. Cheers guys.

(The majority of those fits are great though, really.)

So much good stuff. Now can you create an algorithm with some sliders so I can dial in a "I'd like to dress like" fit and SF marketplace will fedex me a box of stuff to wear?

I did do personal shopping once upon a time, and frankly, you'd probably be one of my less frustrating clients, since you have a good sense of what you like, and a good vocabulary for clothing (i.e. you don't need celebrity flashcards).

@mementomoriarty thanks for taking the time to do this! what a great collection.

styleforum should pay you an honorarium to put together one of these for each of the past 3-4 years (back to whenever thumbing started to be a thing). maybe even including 150 fits, since there have been some dope ones that didn't get the requisite number of thumbs. what do you think, @LA Guy?

I would want guaranteed thumbs though. Maybe that's an add on...

On a more serious note, just skimming the photos once through there are definitely a lot of commonalities to the fits. Some of that's because there are several posters who are represented several times. But of course themes also make sense because there are certain things we like right now, and we respond to those with thumbs.

I'm going to have to look through again and see if I can decide what I think 2015 was the year of. Just for the sake of conversation.

That would be up to our editorial department (i.e. @Synthese ) to determine what we can afford. but yes, it does seem like a good idea to me.

Cheers,

Fok.

So...

Tapered/skinny black pants, sneakers that look like they've been worn through a war zone, long outerwear, a tall T, and something drapey on your neck = SF thumbz.

Very fall/winter biased.

More posters posting fits in fall/winter?
More members posting, so more thumbs in fall/winter?
Summer fits are hard to make interesting?

All three?
