Looking on picking up a pair of boots and trying to figure out - as I'm from Toronto there is occasionally a bit of snow on the ground. Would the Incas sole be better than the Senior Sole for this climate?

I think so. I don't like any soles that have some exposed leather for snowy and wet weather. I have the longwings in brown grain with Incas double soles and they're great in the rain.

Is the discount already included in the price? Or is there a code to unlock it? Hard to tell as the price for shoes in the Artista line seem to be equivalent to what I've previously paid so not sure if I am missing something

EDIT: Nevermind - I can't read - ignore this

Hi, I read on the FAQ that VAT is included in the price and will be removed when shipping to non-EU countries.

Can I know does the checkout price reflect VAT inclusive? As I am seeing Artisa's at EUR367.77 at both list and checkout

Hi,

I'm looking for some wingtip derbies in mid-brown with a rubber sole and it looks like TLB MTO may offer what I'm after. I'd appreciate any advice that TLB owners could provide on the following:

Sole - how is the City sole for comfort? I have shoes on Dainite soles that I find a bit hard and inflexible, so was hoping the City sole would be more flexible and comfortable.

Sizing - I have Carmina's in size 6.5F on the Soller last, assuming that size would also be good for TLB? I'm 7.5D in Alden Plaza.

Last - anyone have the Howard last? I'm looking for good all-day comfort vs sleekness.

Thanks for any advice that you can provide!

Cheers,
Hal

1/ City soles are extremely comfortable. Flexible from the start.

2/ Personally I size down from my Carmina size to Artista lasts from TLB. I'm a 7.5 in most Carmina lasts, I'm a 7 in all Artista lasts. I have low instep so this might explain why.

Looking for sizing advice in the Artista line, primarily for the 112 Goya, 107 Picasso, and 198 Van Gogh shoes. I have a fairly regular shaped arch, regular instep, and narrow/regular width. I have my measurements in cm and recent shoe sizing with US Brannock device listed below:
  • Right foot: 30.2 cm length and 11.3 cm width
    • Heel-to-toe measurement: US 14
    • Arch measurement: US 14
    • Width: A
  • Left foot: 29.9 cm length and 10.7 cm width
    • Heel-to-toe measurement: US 13.5
    • Arch measurement: US 14
    • Width: A
Here are some sizes for some of my current shoes to give you an idea:
-Gucci Jordaan leather loafer size 12 (US 12.5) - lightly used and fits snuggly around feet and has appropriate heel-to-toe length for both feet
-Massimo Matteo Cap Toe Leather Derby Shoes size US 13D - lightly used and fits snuggly around feet and has appropriate heel-to-toe length for both feet

I went to the Allen Edmonds store recently and tried on their Park Avenue Cap Toe Oxford shoe in size US 13D which they sized me for in-store and it felt ok but slightly less snug around the foot as I would have wanted for a new leather shoe. They did not have any size 13C in store.

Looking forward to ordering some of your shoes soon!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
