Having watched the trailer, I have the sinking feeling that the casting is all wrong for this film. He just doesn't have the look or presence that I would have expected for Thor. And although I think Anthony Hopkins is a wonderful actor, I don't see him playing a convincing Odin. I will certainly go see the film (I'm a sucker for this stuff), but I think it will be a little hard to get into it....

Costumes and set design looks like something right out of a set of Wagner's Die Walküre. Which is faithful to the comic I suppose. Trailer looked cool, and as an childhood Marvel fanatic I'm sure I'll see it and (secretly) enjoy it

I think the cast isn't bad. They actually got a guy who is pretty "huge" to play Thor, not someone short like RDJ who had to wear heightened shoes. Dude looks pretty yoked for the movie too.

For some reason I'm getting more and more psyched for this. Partly because I'm already looking forward to the sequel. . . with Beta Ray Bill!

I have yet to see a 3D movie. I wear glasses, so I'm always a bit worried it'd be a waste of money.

It takes a bit getting used to if u wear glasses, but its not too bad. But it's definitely NOT needed for movies. 2-D is good enough for me.
