This is just sad to me. Modern medicine can do incredible things, things that keep people alive who would have died 10-15 years ago, and that woman will probably die because she harbors a myopic view of medicine.

It is sad, but at some level, I think if she wants to eschew modern medicine that gives her a good chance, then I don't feel as bad. I feel bad she will be leaving behind small children though.
