Also how do the Eagles have the best record in the NATIONAL FOOTBAWL LEAGUE? The Cowgirls are making them look like the JV.

you use as much ice as they do? (and they might be using crushed ice, which melts much faster)

I think so…it should be a non-issue for something like a martini where the ice goes in the shaker, but for other stuff I half fill the glass with cubed ice (or my Death Star mold ice when the fancy strikes me)

So if you believe these footbawl commentators, the Cowboys kicker doesn’t practice kicks during the week to keep him fresh for kicking during the game.

So we’re all in on this meme about kickers being pussies, then, aren’t we now?

I heard that too. It makes no sense, but based on how he's kicking, I'd say not practicing is working.

So during the week, he gets to sample all the essential bath oils on offer, while his teammates do two-a-days, i guess…

This seems impossible - settings for OTA input and the apps in question are identical?
Nah.

Same thing was often an issue with paid cable/satellite plans as well...some providers aggressively compress the content and it comes out looking like ****. Your local station broadcasts that **** as it was meant to be shown.

You'd also get stuff like comcast upconverting the 720p channels (ABC and Fox?) to 1080i which would make motion look noticeably worse as you'd get interlacing...especially for sports.

Now the streaming services are playing at the same game. They don't want to use the bandwidth so they'll send you something that is technically a 1080p (or 4k) feed, but it will be compressed to hell or just plain poorly encoded. Super noticeable in the blacks as they get crushed FAST on a lot of streaming services.

Heck, even with a 4k TV, I'd 100% prefer a high bitrate quality 720p encode to some over-compressed 4k garbage. But most consumers are dumb and see 4k > 720p.

Or your internet just sucks so the streaming service is sending you a low-bandwidth feed.
