Trying to watch some live olympics...

NBC's streaming video player is laggy and awful (and won't go true full screen..always has an ad banner on the screen). And then they play the same 3 ******* commercials over and over again.

How many times do I have to watch a bird figure out that it can open a bottle of coke with its beak? Or some kid talk about how awesome it is that their mom works at GE?

I wonder what kind of looks or comments I'll get from her when she first wears them. Not sure if I'll go with the strategy of pretending I don't notice them, or lie through my teeth that they look better than I remember

I do know better, but these were hideous. Maybe I'll tell her they'll make excellent business travel shoes so she'll wear them when she's not with me (and people who know us can't see them)
