It's always a little frustrating to see the V-22 killing someone and remembering that it only exists because Congress decided to override the Pentagon, which rightly determined it's a deathtrap.

I can't think of a better group of people to decide what military equipment is best than Congress. Who are you going to trust to make the decision instead? The 6% of Americans who think they can beat a grizzly in hand to hand combat?

I don't think they do. I don't think they are equipped for the Executive Airlift mission. I believe that Marine Helicopter Squadron One has an Osprey, but they do not use it to transport the President. Is there any historical instance of a President flying on a V-22?
Clearly I was misinformed. :)

The latest edition of Bon Appetit had nothing I wanted to cook, and even less desirable articles. I'm getting actually annoyed when I see contrived food photography.
The IG-holding-up-the-food-for-a-photo pic is just cliche. But, like, someone nonchalantly packing a tote with a baguette to uncomfortably sit on a rock and chop a melon while laughing, or being perfectly poised to grab an ingredient while someone just outside the shot said something hysterical is just.... bad.

we found this local Mexican place that does a great impression of southern Cali takeout , amazing fish tacos and breakfast burritos . they also do a fabulous hot sauce and it sent me down the rabbit hole .

so I found this great small batch hot sauce maker ( i'm salivating as I type this lmao ) and I'm going through like a bottle a week until I got this particular bottle that is WAY too ******* hot . idk what happened but it's different . it's still got that incredible sweet pepper flavor but the heat is on 20 . I can put a drop in a bowl of soup and get the heat but not the flavor , very jibbledy

One ingenious demon was a man who wrote self-help books for women (of course) with the premise that the woman is always right and the man is always wrong. It must have been like printing money.

Is it more Colonel Buttchug or Dr. Buttblast in terms of flavor?

Both are pretty good but I've always been partial to the heat from Dr. Donkey Dick.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
