That's an evolution of the "power strut." The last iteration was the bluetooth earpiece. Before that...uhh..yelling into a Nokia flip phone. (...Before that possibly furiously typing into a pager without watching where you're going?)

These deluded souls are under the impression it's something "Gekko would have done." Or if they're younger...Kanye or LeBron or something. Hahahahaa

Agreed. Annoying as f*ck.

Moving. Filed the change of address stuff with USPS. The previous tenants at the new place warned me that USPS has been screwing up the forwarding (or not) of their mail. Yesterday they apparently forwarded an Amazon delivery I had sent to my new place to the old tenants's new address, for no ******* reason whatsoever. Saving grace is the old tenants moved a block away, and are nice folks who are friends of friends, so it's easy enough to do a prisoner exchange every couple of days. But what a bunch of incompetent *****.

At some point my last address was listed as a business address and the USPS said they were unable to change my address to a residential one. I had to go through and manually update everything with each company, and then go by the old apartment to get the few things that trickle in once a month or so. Such a PITA.

Hammock for the new backyard. It's double-wide, if any of you are considering visiting.

The people who previously owned my house failed badly on forwarding their mail. They apparently don't want to give us their address either; he wants to come pick the stuff up from us.

I've just started throwing it away. Eight months is too long to be dealing with this nonsense.

Better than my old place, anyway. The previous tenants had been evicted and disappeared, and I kept getting stuff like child support notifications and custody hearing scheduling. I had no clue where they lived and the post office refused to stop delivering the mail unless I could tell them where they moved to. How the **** was I supposed to know? Feels bad knowing some lady could be losing child support or even missing custody hearings because of this, but nothing I could do about it.

I'm a virgin in certain parts of my body, for sure. I don't deny that.
