I remember that piece in GQ. That picture disturbed me. Especially the phone case.

i may have worn a similar case to a styfo meetup. douglas may have noticed and may have made an ass out me.

@ manton - i wouldnt say that it is objectively the WORST look. i think its more the fact that it is a look that is no where, is what makes it most frustrating. its not business, its not really casual. its taking parts of both and ruing them. its just mayhem. and mayhem is not mantons friend.

I have no idea why the suit is still a part of men's wardrobe.. no matter how fine the material, or the tailoring they are boring as hell.. I thank God every day that I chose a career in which I'll never have to wear one..

They're boring only if you let them be. Fact: chicks dig men suits - just not ill fitting, badly coordinated ones.

I know i am in the minority here but I have no problem with a solid colored navy or tan suit with a white or blue solid shirt and a pocket square without a tie.

But, I can't stand a patterned suit with white or blue solid shirt. It seems so incomplete.

1) Screw the temperature; I keep my jacket on all day.

2) Screw lack of comfort; if I can fire a low knife-edge kick followed by a jab and cross (as I just did while horsing around with a co-worker) while in a suit, I can sure as heck sit down at a PC in a suit.

:slayer:.

women like men in suits because they convey an image of status and wealth.. women like men of status and wealth even if they aren't so good looking or in such good shape.. I'm more of the opinion that a woman who sees a man in an expensive, perfectly tailored suit notices the fact that he has money before she notices what colour his eyes are.. now if you just want to talk about what women find sexually appealing, the conversation starts and stops with kilts.. there is no suit you can buy that will turn the heads of more women than a kilt..

I wear one with my cape. Lemme tell you, women notice.
nice piece of sarcasm.. but it isn't quite the same 'notice' as when you left the men's room with toilet paper stuck to your shoe..

so.... when was the last time a hot chic with a few drinks in her came up and asked if she could slide her hand in your pants to see what you were wearing under them?........

I have a hard time believing drunk hot chicks go around sexually assaulting men in kilts. That really sounds like something those guys would do to each other.

That's one reason for the necessity of the tie (and the other trimmings); personalisation, individuality and colour come from the accessories - why forego them?.

accessories always make the look but you don't need to wear matching pants and jacket to accessorize..
