Someone told me to post this here, so here goes.
Hopefully you all can point me to some resources!

--The Post--

I'm looking for original, interesting male fashion online stores. I'm looking for advice on where to look: links, leads. I prefer unique brands, not those that are simply doing the same as everybody else or a small variation thereof.

Ideally this fashion would not be too in-your-face, but we can deviate from soulless t-shirt and jeans, or suits, or whatever.

I find this quite hard to find because my lexicon is somewhat limited, the small brands are nearly unsearchable, and using any search words - especially and even 'alt' - can limit the search to the gag-me-seen-it-before stuff.

Comfort and quality materials is a big plus.
Fabrics, sportsy, edgy, refreshing. Can be casual but also has dignity.
Here is a pinterest board for some inspiration but this does not nearly encompass everything I am looking for! (And includes some things I'm not.) Please don't limit your ideas to this or not share something because it isn't closely related enough.

The reason I'm doing this is because I'm trying to help someone find their style. I do know them but since they've never embodied it in their attire, I'm still guessing. Maybe you guys can pinch in too and we can all help them find their style!

Thank you and hopefully you can help me to look and cut some of this overboard overwhelm!

Oh, and, if you have a store of your own, and it fits the criteria, drop it below ;)

Actually, i see a lot of stuff in a similar genre on the racks at a local Thrift. let's call it "Early 90's Japanese Big Hair Glam Rock Band revival" wear.

like XJapan era.

Advice? dig around for labels that make that genre. for a more Rock star take on the lace shirt.

moreover, save some clothing money. buy a decent Sewing Machine. and make your own. most "Designer" stuff is junk. or poorly made. simply to achieve a "Look". so learn your size, get to it. in fact. i challenge you to do so. because those pics you posted above aren't complex pieces.

Have fun!
(disclaimer: every household should have a Sewing Machine.sorry not sorry)
