i really don't see how it's all over the place. it's pretty interesting fit. very geometric. look at how the layers each work with each other, both in color and gradation. i like it.

Forgive me uncle, for I too don't really like that fit

Especially the boot shorts/legging interface.

Bottom half is perfect! Not that there's anything wrong with the top. I just love the volume of the pants and the cuff along with the green and tan, and even the contrasting laces.

I really like this. Fantastic drape from all the pieces.

Question: does the lighter color detailing on the sneakers match the stripe on the back of the coat sleeve?

No, they don't match. The stripes are also black but look like a lighter shade due to the heavy nylon(?) fabric they are made from catching the light. Very similar to seatbelts or the straps on.

The bottom of the shoes are closer to a gunmetal grey.

Yeah, it's a little trimmer than most of my other EG jackets. This was the trial run.
