This thread is like a mosquito caught in amber.

Wore Lemaire to the ballet tonight. Blazer is pretty big but we can—and should—get even bigger.

Wore Lemaire, Banana Republic, more Lemaire and Studio Nicholson to an “All Stravinsky” performance at the ballet. @hendrix — tried cuffing the sleeves a bit.

I read through five pages of comments in reverse order, my curiosity swelling with each page as I sought to uncover that transgression so heinous as to invoke the ANGER OF THE GODS ... only to find two photos of a person wearing nice clothes.

You're handing out titles like King Christmas.

I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with criticism, but what is the rationale in posting images on a public forum & not accepting the fact that there may be some critiques? Engaging in discourse with those of a dissenting opinion than your own is a great opportunity for personal growth imo

Only speaking for myself - thoughtful, constructive criticism is absolutely welcome. I've seen a lot of good discussions as a result of criticism from a fit post. I receive notes often and I appreciate them.

If the criticism is nasty or personal, well expect a reaction.

mmh - I'd be calling that as a 34"

Thank you all.
I am now at least temporarily more confused.

I'm usually a 35" but I'd have to go to 38" from what I can see.

I might be able to sort it later.
Whats "mmh"?
It's closer to 33 than 34. The angle from the camera lens to the side makes it appear like the measurement is at 16.75, but it's closer to 16.5 when viewed from directly above the tape end

Sorry, this is me I'm afraid
I’m not mad at anyone in particular. Wasn’t thinking of you at all. Also, I like CM casuAl, CM, all of it. It’s just that those areas have threads and I tend to want this thread to be wilder.
But good fits are good fits and you post a lot of good fits!

Now, somebody please post some full Balenciaga or Rick!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
