I have a very thin thigh measurement and would normally buy 30 so I ignored the usual advice and got a size 30 at first. Could not put them on. Got the 32 and fit fine. Definitely go up 2 or live to regret it.
I second this. I'm normally a 30, ignored their advice and had to exchange for a 32. They mean it!

Counterpoint - I'm more like a 36 in typical tts pants like Rota or japanese brands, and I have two Wranchers, one 34 and one 35. 34 fits snugly, 35 is a slim but not snug. They have some give so that helps a bit, and also, I have thin legs and rear.

The colors are intentional - especially the shirt.

Intentional as opposed to what, accidentally picking the palette? Regardless, whether méprise or motive this is masterful
Thanks.

I'm being too subtle. It's an homage to the Washington Commanders - who are getting crushed in the NFC title game. The team's success this year was so unexpected that we fans are still happy.

Long time listener etc ..

@WBaker and any others who can chime in.

For a few years now, I've had my eyes on Wrangler Wranchers.

I'd have to import - none are available here to try for size

I've hesitated because a lot of online comments have been about the sizing -saying "go up 2 sizes"
This seems a bit weird.

I was wondering if perhaps the people having problems with size have largish "athletic" thighs or perhaps big rear ends.

For information - my thighs/leg are shaped like a pair of thin chopsticks, and my rear is best described as resembling a CD.

My question: Does the Wranchers waist size run TTS or not?

IE does a 36" size measure a real 36" at waist band?

TIA

I have a size 33 recently purchased. Here is a picture of the waist measurement flat across. It's basically true 33" by the method of flat across x 2.
mmh - I'd be calling that as a 34"

Thank you all.
I am now at least temporarily more confused.

I'm usually a 35" but I'd have to go to 38" from what I can see.

I might be able to sort it later.

Wore Lemaire, Banana Republic, more Lemaire and Studio Nicholson to an “All Stravinsky” performance at the ballet. @hendrix — tried cuffing the sleeves a bit.
Is it your choice to wear such giant clothes?
The rise on those baggy trousers just looks comical.
You may be complying with some personal quirk or current trend but I can’t help feeling you’ll look back on these pics one day with some regret.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
