Always had a soft spot for the Laureato, but I feel that I am in a small minority, it gets little love I feel because G-P has historically often been heavily discounted.

My particular favourite is this limited edition made for Siddiqi and Sons, with a blue enamel over guilloche dial.

Colleague of mine picked this up last night. Family friends with the AD. It’s the only 42mm Ti YM that the AD’s been allocated. Looks big to me but he’s ecstatic about adding it to his collection.

:inlove: I was never a fan of the Yachtmaster until this one was released. To me the Yachtmaster was just a dressier Sub (with a platinum or gold bezel) that wasn't as water resistant. I'm not saying this new version is a tool watch, but this dispenses the blinginess of past models giving us a mostly flat black bezel, a flat black dial, and a Ti case and bracelet. I hope to a get to try one on sometime, even if I'm unlikely to get a call from an AD for the next decade or so :rotflmao:

Just curious how it looks with a strap…

I’ve ordered a dark green round scale gator glossy strap. You will see soon enough. I do wonder whether it will lose some presence with the strap. I am pretty obsessed with the bracelet. It makes me wonder why on earth watches don’t come on bracelets anymore.

No way would I change it. That's not a daily watch strap by any means, but has a fun punch with it
