New collection release from Baltic, one of the Internet's darling microbrands. They are... not attractive... in my opinion.

I get the intent, but the execution . . .x-post from the poor man's watch thread.

You may be right. The baffling thing to me are the hour markers. The salmon/bronze and blue/gray dials might be nice with something other than the weird stud hour markers. They remind me of the suburban Hot Topic "punk rock" belts:I get the intent, but the execution . . .
One of their challenges is that they are trying to branch out and make new watches like this but they only have a few (one?) cases they use for all of these watches. I understand the reason why they are constrained in this manner, but this looks like an attempt to create a version of the AT shades watch based on what they had for cases and movements available to them.
Which brings me to the lug width. 20 mm lug width for a 36 mm case. I have a different Baltic watch with the same case and having a 20 mm strap on a 36 mm case is definitely one of my complaints about it.Well, at a glance the mesh bracelet looks pretty nice. If only they made one in purp...oh, wait.
*And I actually like Baltic, for what they are.
