Let me rephrase: how many have the scratch AND the permission? Ms. Big A would f'ing murder me if I bought another watch, and she's pretty chill... if you've been here a really long time, you already knowProbably at least 4 or 5
Shoot, if you can get it for retail, I can get permission ?Let me rephrase: how many have the scratch AND the permission? Ms. Big A would f'ing murder me if I bought another watch, and she's pretty chill... if you've been here a really long time, you already know
I can also almost certainly get Cayman to sell it to you just through my contacts with the guy who used to run the store in St Maarten. LMK if you'd like me to make that call
Oof. I already feel a little weird walking around with the 5711 on now that they are north of $100K. I mean if you had that in cash in a backpack, you'd be paranoid as hell right? Sure 99% of people aren't going to clock the watch but it only takes one especially discriminating mugger ...Blue dial on bracelet, I think more people would magically come up with the money.
I love it when the forum helps each other. Foo, why not also go for a Naoya Hida ( ) , Urban Jürgensen ( ) or Journe ( )?
Nicer watch but not something you could trade for a car and a bunch of gasoline in the Balkans or Africa or something like that. I like watches that have worldwide recognized intrinsic value, which pretty much means Rolex and PatekI'd take that first one every time over a 5726. Not even close.

Well no guarantees. "Almost certainly" might have been too strong. But "probably" is goodwhat a mensch!

They should call that model the Supernaut.I don't buy ugly 6 figure watches in case I need to trade for a car and gas.
