Think it clunky, myself. Batons are too heavy; crown too protruding... GS have done better.

I certainly understand where you’re coming from and had similar thoughts at one point in time. That said, once I finally decided to take a chance with one (a different dial color brought me in) I ended up finding it incredibly charming on the wrist.

A friend of mine just picked this up preowned. Doesn't really get any cleaner unless he goes for L1 Timezone which costs 4x more.

I personally prefer less complicated watches, but that is nice looking. The blue hands and numerals are just perfect.

This is white gold but otherwise fits the bill (ref. 105.027). It came in yellow gold (ref. 105.021) but no black dial as far as I know. But it is 34mm, manual wind.
Edit: It’s seems the first one may be a blue dial. Lange made a 37mm automatic of a very similar watch in a gray dial and rose gold (ref. 315.033) that is automatic.

i watched the lange video posted a couple days ago and thought the Arkade looks great , not particularly feminine it has an awesome movement and the date sits beautifully imho , also the Cabaret . they also seem to be a bit under the radar so to speak

Do I need medication for considering to acquire an ALS Deployant Clasp for $3500?
Not at all!

You will, however, need medicine after your significant other sees the statement from the purchase
