Interesting nod to Zenith with this one.

I think this is a curious study in the “sportive” direction that Patek is going.
This one I like. I'm afraid none of their 2022 offerings really spoke to me. Especially the one where they contracted the spray-on truck bed-liner dudes to coat the watch face.

As I'm looking through those macro images, I see two sizeable scuffs on the hesalite crystal between 5 and 6. I didn't notice them at wrist length but they sure are obvious through the lens.

Grabbed some polywatch and a microfiber cloth. After a couple rounds of polishing:

Then a couple more:

And lastly...hard to take a pic of nothing but you get the idea.

Nevermind. have been told 380,000 CHF. That’s **** off money, and given those who entered this space before, can stay **** off money.
Yeah, I like this design the best of the new releases (so far) but this wouldn't be my first choice to spend close to half a million bucks.

As always, late to the party.

Cartier tank Chinoise (Platinum);
Patek World Timer 5231G
Jaeger LeCoultre Infinite

Honourable mentions:

Parmigiani Rattrapante Tonda GMT
Trilobe Nuit Fantastique

and i am by no means set on the Patek… Something just not right (Perhaps the lack of time telling???)

The new Parmigiani lineup looks great as a whole. Love the redesigned/subtle logo, etc.

I’m a step closer to pulling the trigger on a much (unanimously?) maligned watch and...I’m pretty fired up about it! Maybe I am a contrarian?

Im going to hit pause for a moment, but I’m pretty sure this is going down.

Have any of you bought a thoroughly anti-hype - or notoriously berated watch?
