Just ordered the Canal penny loafers in tobacco brown. I’m pretty sure they’re made by Astorflex but the design is just so much nicer than Mokaflex. Toe box doesn’t look as boxy and the moc toe stitching is much nicer. Mokaflex is lined and Canal pennies are unlined so they work better for summer in my opinion. I have pair of Greenflex and Dukeflex and they’re incredible value for the price. Possibly the best I’ve encountered in shoes. Let’s hope these Canal penny loafers are atleast the same quality and these few design tweaks are really worth it 😅

The last winter tweed sport coat that Drakes released, as worn by JJ in the Black Ivy editorial, reminds me a lot of the one that John Goldberger is seen wearing in one of the Hodinkee videos, with some snapshots shown here: https://dieworkwear.com/2014/04/22/denim-under-tweed/ by @dieworkwear.

I think it's one of the greatest tweed clothes Drakes have done over the years.

Another jacket that Goldberger is seen wearing in a Morjas editorial seems to have the exact same cloth as one that Agnelli used to wear (I think with some difference in light in the photos I found):

I bought them a few months back and really like them!

Anyone happen to have these pants? https://www.drakes.com/usa/clothing/trousers/lovat-mid-wale-corduroy-single-pleat-trouser

Called the canal street store today and had them take some measurements. A 34 in the flat front version of this pant came back as a 18.75. Additionally, they measured a 36 as a 19.4. I have a pair of the cord selvedge five pockets in 36 and that measures back at a 18.5ish. This is so vastly different than the size charts on the site.

Listened to it a while ago. Very nice to hear how likeable Mark Cho comes across.

Just took delivery of this navy canvas chore. I am usually in between 38 and 40. Ordered 40 as per recommendations in this thread.

It is a boxy/roomy fit, but my first impression is good. Does you think it look like the right size?

Yes, the fit is really nice on you if you ask me. Length is good and love how it fits over your shoulders. You could try and turn the cuffs, see if you like it.
