How was the quality of the tees - better than mainline? Boxy like aforementioned?

Wouldn't say better in terms of quality.

Difference with this capsule is probably the fit and color choice if any. The director will definitely have his input and all that extra cost gotta go somewhere to the consumer.

E.G like the Lemaire collab one may noticed subtle details in the threading which a normal general release would not enjoy. The pocket is still signature lemaire style.

That being said, the tee is definitely much spacier than their normal short sleeves. It's slightly bigger, wider all around. Shoulders, chest widths, sleeve lengths than your normal go to size.

You can even go up 1 more size to achieve a more profound oversize look.

Those shoes are hideous. Uniqlo U is pretty weak, IMO. But mainline Lemaire doesn't do anything for me so there's that.

They seem like nice, clean, unbranded shoes for under $300, which is nice.

Mine is in black though. I wonder if it's also that cropped in person, or if this is just the women's version of it.

Handled a lot of the U stuff today; it is all awful.

On the other hand the new 'fake seude' jacket, if you some how manage to ignore the fact its 'fake seude', is quite nice.

The corduroy pants were way too big for me. I'm a true 32" waist and the size 29 was still too big for me in the seat and legs. They're very much a loose straight regular cut.

Are those shoes supposed to be part of the UU line? I like them a lot actually, even though I'm assuming the quality is inline with regular Uniqlo.

The slip-on's in the last Uniqlo & Lemaire collection were only available in Europe and Asia I believe.

I guess they came in a while after the rest of the line was released, as I really wanted a pair and could only find them on the EU, UK and Asian Uniqlo sites.

I guess they probably didn't make it to Canada either....

got the $15 mock neck tee. soft, but low armholes and big even a size down. would also be nice if it the body were an inch longer.
