They’re alright. There are better shops… terminator 2 on the other hand. Possibly the best movie of the 90s.

Go to garrison if you want to try them but you’d be better suited waiting for a good trunk show to come through town.
I remember when I was in university being determined to get a suit from Garrison for my grad.

Thank God, I didn't waste that money lol

I’ve had a lot of trial and error when doing MTM, so my tolerance for trying a new place is pretty low; hence my inclination to stick with Harry Rosen. But it’s still disappointing that Redmayne won’t offer bespoke for its Toronto customers.

Also, has @induere_to stopped taking customers for bespoke?

I confirmed with Redmayne that the cost for a suit starts at $1744 USD, which is $2350 CAD. Full canvass, and the suit is made in China.
Thanks for checking. I just assumed it was manufactured in the UK. Should have remembered the old saying "When you make assumptions...."

Glad to hear you got a Canali 15000. I am looking at a Navy Birdseye version. Are they Drop 8`s ?

Sitting down to watch Terminator 2 in my Glen plaid suit from Garrison with a glass of Mountain Dew and some chips. Feeling very smug today.

This kind of post always needs a photo. Even a quick selfie will suffice.

I'm glad I'm not the only one changing with the times....in the olden days, I would have aspired for a large snifter of Courvoisier Napoleon and a Romeo and Julietta. I would have looked down on your Mountain Dew.

Now I value health more.
I am opting for fresh cold water and Niagara-grown coronation grapes and Tehranvi cherries. Grapes are good, but Ontario cherries suck....they got nothing on California's Bing which are sublime...way better.

My high school prom suit is an Armani Collezioni that cost 3k plus with a shirt and tie. The salesperson pushed hard and told my father and I that it was very good deal at 30% off. Never spent a cent there after except the outlet

AC is pretty elevated for a high school prom. Do you still have the suit?

Yeah I still have the suit. I only worn it less than 20 times. As soon as I learn how a suit should fit, I realize it’s way toooo short. It’s just my rich parents believed a boy going to business school should have a proper suit and they were willing to drop big $. That harry rosen sales rep was so happy
