The Blundstones look really good. Did it originally come with the Vibram sole? A complete replacment?

Check the old pics. Old soles were the original Blundstones which I really disliked.

Cobbler added in midsole and shanks. My feet need the extra support.

Sounds good!

But in all seriousness, I hope everyone is staying safe and making the best of the quarantine. Once this is over, we should organize another local meet up.

Hello everyone. I started a new thread earlier and thought I’d share here.

I’ve been learning how to make boots and have become friends with an experienced bootmaker from BC. He’s done work for both Viberg and Dayton and has decided to start his own brand, HD Russell Boots.

As a photographer, I offered to take some photos for him.
Here’s a link to the original thread:

HD Russell thread

Take a look and let me know what you think. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

After this is all over, we'll probably all be wearing Wal Mart clothes...

Things are only going to get worse over the next few weeks. However, I'm confident we will make it through. We've learned a lot from our colleagues in Italy and China. Keep your head up bro!

How anyone could be spending their money on overpriced clothing with all the economic uncertainty surrounding us is beyond me.

Must be the same people that are out doing picnics in a park, bring their kids to the supermarket while not wearing any gloves or masks...

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
