Well. I just hit the motherlode!

Is there any interest here for private label (Made in Italy I think) grenadine ties in multiple colours?

- Navy
- Lighter navy
- Brown
- Silver
- Pink
- Red/wine

8cm width - 100% silk.

Price would be $49 CAD for one, or $95 for two.

That's basically $38US per tie, or $32US if you buy two.

They are from a high end store in Europe that doesn't ship to Canada.

PMed you!

@CloudLi

Finally stopped into the mainline Saks Fifth Ave dtown. You are right. Samuelsohn has amazing silk-wool Italian fabric. I would happily pick up one of these house-brand too....

...at Off Saks:
400

:p

They also had your Isaia but every suit was $4g's. As expected.

Saks doesn't carry any Isaia tailoring in a size 36, unfortunately. There aren't enough of us paying full price for it and those who do likely would've went the MTM route anyway.

Yep. Samuelsohn is better. But I suggest go to the bay on 5th floor. More selections and cheaper.

Hold the phone Cloudmon. You were right Samuelsohn has stellar Italian fabric. However, I still think the E. Zegna mill has the edge.
I'll do a walkaround Bay though. Haven't been in there in ages.

Especially if you catch them on their 20% off promotion.

If anybody does decide to go there, go see Mohammed, the manager of The Bay's MTM suiting department on Queen St. He's been there for around 40 years - he worked his way up - knows his stuff and is one hell of a storyteller. He's one of the smartest men I know.

If I ever consider getting Coppley or Samuelsohn at/near full price, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
