True, but I had meant to say that these particular boots don't seem to have been mentioned, either here or in MC. I was curious what people in SW&D think of them or, for that matter, of Rider boots in general.

They're nice but I wouldn't pay what they cost, they need to be about 30% cheaper.

I have some ****** no-brand 70 dollar boots that I use for shoveling snow. I'm interested in some casual lace-up boots (work boot?) and I'm willing to spend between 100-300. I've heard mixed reviews of RW GTs, katahdins, lands end canvas lace-ups, 1000 miles, doc marten 1460s and there doesn't seem to be a consensus. What do you think is the most versatile leather casual laceup boot to wear with jeans?

To rephrase: If you could own one lace-up leather boot to wear with jeans between $100-$300, what would it be?

From what I have read and heard. Too pricey for the quality. Before I kopped my butteros a few years ago, I was looking at Officine Creative boots, and decided against it. I think the leather quality is **** for the price.
