Not the usual cream but a cool sand colour on this tuxedo, lovely in my eyes. Bottega Dalmut.

Tuesday at Pitti before heading out with my lovely wife for the evening. Wearing for the first time my RTW Ring Jacket wool and mohair tux from the Armoury. I especially like the matte look of the wool/mohair mix (a first for me) in a variety of lighting. But, it is a three season weight so I will be looking for a summer weight jacket shortly, perhaps a "wrinkles be damned" off-white linen?

Anyone tried the Fox eveningwear cloth? Looking for cloth to get a new dinner suit. Though the Fox seems incredibly heavy? (My concern is how warm it would be)

Yea, that's meant for drafty Scottish castles in the early 1930s...likely any building with semi-modern infrastructure would be too warm to comfortably wear a 22oz tuxedo

I have no specific experience, but the heavy weight cavalry twill trousers I have are not too warm under normal heating conditions.

Okay, I might have been exaggerating a bit but I'd throw it in the same category as a corduroy suit...can you wear it indoors, sure. Is it largely a seasonal piece for the colder months, yes. Would most people be hot wearing it to a crowded reception/party/dance floor regardless of the time of year, also yes.

We can agree about that. I probably would choose a medium weight.

Edit: Unless I have to wear it in a Scottish castle, of course.
