Meermin loafer overall fit pretty good in uk5.5, I don't think I can put my feet into uk5, but there leather is harder than other manufacturers.
What range of trouser hems/leg openings do you guys go with?
I don't like my trousers to be skin tight and short, still most ready made hems wobble around my feet, so I am about to test 17,5cm for jeans and casual cotton chinos as well as 18,75cm for formal chinos and suits.
No distinction between casual and formal?
I'm a US 7.5D and haven't had too much trouble especially with the recent growth of quality shoe vendors on the internet (e.g. Leather Soul Hawaii, Skoaktiebolaget, etc...). I've also had some luck on the buy/sell here at SF as well as some of the ebay vendors.
well any size above UK6 is not that hard to find, but for sizes like UK5.5 or smaller it can be annoying
yeah, actual it's a good thing if you are on the edges of the regular size chart, e.g. UK 6/6.5 or UK 11/12 if the manufacturer produce size 6 to 12, there are always sales on sizes like those.I feel for you. It's tough finding anything smaller than UK6.
I find 17.5cm-18cm works for me best in jeans, not too much experience in formal wears. What range of trouser hems/leg openings do you guys go with?
