What a cool guy.

When the Pope went on holiday, Cibin went too, running up mountains with an energy unmatched by those half his age. He accompanied Paul VI on nine pastoral trips abroad and John Paul II on 104. He was also with Benedict XVI when he visited Germany in 2005 and Poland in 2006. Cibin kept up a vigorous physical exercise regime until making his final run around St Peter's Square in 2006, three days before his 80th birthday.

I only hope I can have this much energy when I'm that old.

I'm not sure I would have believed this story if it had been just told to me. It sounds almost like something you'd read in a Dan Brown book. I wonder if this guy has any faith issues at all.
