Nice coat. Buckle too big, IMHO.
Not the best pic but here’s a Burberry polo coat I thrifted in Chicago years ago. Haven’t worn it in a couple years but my girls work was having a holiday party so it was a good excuse to dress up a bit. Patch pockets, cuffs and a martingale back. View attachment 2300493
Burberrys' used to make beautiful classic coats like this. I have a Balmacaan, Now they
sell over-priced dsigner dreck.

If the coat is wool gabardine, it is like one my Dad brought home from World War II.
He wouldn't part with it because the front was full of little holes from an incendiary
bomb which hit nearby during the "Little Blitz", London 1943.
