Having to crook your arm like that to get into the pocket looks awkward and is awkward. Maybe he's got really long arms, but if he does he knows that and would think he would have placed the pockets more conveniently.

(See Urban Comp's pic just above Cifonelli's, hand in coat pocket, much more natural.)
Better without patch pockets.
is that the heaviest Harrisons?
Yes, that’s the balmacaan from Buck Mason in Magee tweed.Yep I believe so too. So definitely a Balmacaan.

Salvo is making me up a Polo-esque polo coat in Harrison’s camel hair, should be ready for a fitting when he comes in April. Might look into Harrison’s archive cashmere for another coat but think I might opt for a sport coat instead.
Was one size smaller available to try on?Hi, new here. Hope its okey to ask for advice on sizing on raglan coat.
Even though raglan coats are suppose to be a bit oversized, i feel like this one is too big on me. I want a classic more timeless look.
The most obvious thing is that the arms are too long but that is not a problem to fix at a tailor, especially since there are no buttons in the way.
Im more concearned about the shoulders and overall silhouette. Im wearing a medium-thick rollneck under and Ive tried wearing a blazer under with similar results, visually.
Chris, I’m curious, having stated that. What do you think about the value of a bespoke raglan coat vs. rtw? I’ve see very few raglan coats that I like (the photo of the raglan polo coat in black & white comes to mind). I always thought maybe raglan coats weren’t for me, until I saw that photo. Was one size smaller available to try on?
if you prefer a more fitted, closer to the body coat, a raglan may not be for you. They are rarely if ever shaped or fitted thru the body. The armhole opening is much larger and roomier than set in sleeves. Makes the coat feel generous.
This was the last size left. I think a size smaller would of been less oversized and not fitted. I like the Idea of the generous for you describe, but in person it for to be too much. I dont think i look good in it.Was one size smaller available to try on?
