Had a business lunch yesterday at a place I don't frequent. The wine list and pricing completely blew me away. For instance, a 2014 Sea Smoke Ten for $81. A 2007 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" for $67. Just two examples but should give an idea of pricing. I wish it wasn't 35 minutes, including a portion through the main part of the city, away from my house or we'd be doing dinners and having 2-3 bottles.

How was it? I've sitting on an 06 for a while.

Outstanding. Was having dinner in Vancouver with friends and he read the Tignanello was $150. Looked like that to me on the daily chalkboard, too. What a deal!

Misread. When the bill came, it was $650! Gulp!

Gulp is right! Well, glad it was outstanding, at least!
