'16 was a great year for the Okanagan/Similkameen. Got this in store this weekend, nice amount of bottle age to get off the shelf. Was amazing.

May well be viewing through the rose colored lens of nostalgia, but I’ve tried a few different Lewis varietals of late…and they’re all fairly blah?
I recall them, almost as a rule, being incredibly (arguably excessively) opulent. These recent tries are not.
Wondering if this is me being a dummy, or Justin/Wonderful taking effect.

Yesterday and today

Another spanish white. Had their 'seleccion especial' last week and was very impressed. This is also very good (not oxidative like Heredia blancos)

Interesting combo from Andrew Will (57% Merlot, 43% Cab Franc). Originally opened this yesterday, was too tannic, let sit until today. Still tannic, but much more enjoyable. Will be glorious in 5 years.
