A Piedmonte producer thats been taking some heat in mother Sweden after it turned out that the Enzo Bartoli fellow reffered to on the label not being a historical one with the nature down in Piedmonte kind of a guy the producers claimed he was, in which spirit they produced their wines. Just a made up character and the artisan small scale back to the roots winemaking turned out to be something else. Still a pretty good Barolo Bussia for weekday drinking

Speaking of wine with strange colors... Vintage not pictured but this was an about 35 year old Mersault. Armoa and palate correct for a burg of this level and age, but instead of being the usual caramelly gold color, it had an almost fluorescent green tinge to it that I have not experienced before. I assume something to do with the slightly more interventionist winery practices that were more in vogue a couple decades ago. Regardless, was very much alive and outstanding to drink.
